6G: A technology to predetermine all areas of our lives

 Geoffrey Hinton worked on the Google Brain project until 2023, when he resigned citing concerns about the risks of AI technology, including the possibility that advanced AI systems could develop goals that do not align with human values, especially if individuals, groups, or states appropriate this technology for their own purposes.

The Google Brain project is an artificial intelligence research team within Google AI, which is dedicated to AI research and development. Instead of feeding the system labeled images, he showed it 10 million YouTube videos for a week in the belief that it would learn to identify unlabeled images. After the one-week period, the neural network composed of 16,000 computer processors had acquired unwanted knowledge and learned to identify cats. According to a report in the New York Times, “The remarkable thing was that [the system] had discovered the concept of a cat itself. No one had ever told it what a cat is. That was a milestone in machine learning” (1).

Hinton used Hopfield's network as the basis for a new network that uses a different method: the Boltzmann machine. This network can learn to recognize characteristic elements in a given type of data. Hinton used tools from statistical physics, the science that studies or classifies systems composed of many similar components. The machine is trained by providing it with examples that are highly probable when the machine is running. The Boltzmann machine can be used to classify images or create new examples of the type of pattern it was trained on.

Hinton won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics, and this is his brief acceptance speech at a Nobel banquet last December, urging “vigorous attention from governments and international organizations” to “research on how to prevent these new beings from taking over” (2).

“With the arrival of 6G, thoughts will be traceable, emotional states measurable, and decisions predictable and algorithmically influenced. This is presented as an aid for people with disabilities or a commercial convenience, but in media ecology, the interface is ideology. Once we “think” through a machine, our consciousness is redefined by its architecture and thus ends our individual selves, which they intend to replace our will, and not just that of those who may have some limitations in expressing themselves.

Since all phenomena are fundamentally based on frequencies and fields, electronic warfare could be tailored to alter human mood and personality, as well as illness and death” (3).

The most significant differences between 5G and 6G would be speed. 6G aims to reach speeds of 1 Tbps, which will allow for virtually instantaneous downloads without interruptions. Latency: 5G operates at a millisecond, while 6G seeks to reduce it to microseconds. Consider social control and military activity. Connection capacity: 6G will allow for the simultaneous connection of tens of millions of devices per square kilometer, which will also integrate sensory technologies, and the integration of artificial intelligence. Unlike 5G, 6G will be designed with AI at its core. It will no longer be the sole responsibility of the individual who intends to use it; it will be integrated from the outset into the communications system.

6G's terahertz (THz) frequency bands will enable high-resolution tracking of biometric and neural signatures. Communication in the terahertz range is just one component of 6G technology, which is accompanied by integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) or converged sensing and communication (JCAS), machine learning, and intelligent reconfigurable surfaces (RIS). THz communication will likely be an essential requirement for meeting the goals of maximum data throughput and extremely low latencies, and will be essential for enabling new applications such as holographic communication (4).

6G is explicitly designed to support brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). A brain-computer interface (BCI) is a system that establishes direct communication between an individual's brain and a computer. The electrical activity produced when neurons fire to communicate with each other is processed and decoded into commands that are sent to a device to perform a desired action. The propaganda campaign focuses almost exclusively on the prospects for improvement for people with motor disabilities.

However, BCIs can be used as a tool to passively monitor the user's brain. Passive BCIs allow for adaptation to the environment by taking into account the user's mental state or perception. This allows for the capture of thought patterns and the extraction of emotional states (5).

6G will integrate digital identity, health passports, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs): Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBCs) are a form of digital fiat money issued by the central banks of countries or supranational organizations and legal tender in that country or territory (6).

The deployment of 6G is not simply the next wave of communications technology. It is the integration of human consciousness into an externally modulated system of control, extraction, and obedience (7).

The Boltzmann machine is a fundamental concept in information theory and machine learning. This machine is a specific type of stochastic (random) neural network. Its structure includes interconnected processing units that operate probabilistically. Unlike other neural networks, Boltzmann machines are especially useful for modeling and simulating complex, dynamic systems, as they can capture the variability and uncertainty inherent in many real-world problems. They use principles of statistical mechanics to describe the probabilistic behavior of the variables involved. 

Boltzmann machine learning is an innovative approach in artificial intelligence based on stochastic and probabilistic properties. These machines use a neural network architecture incorporating interconnected processing units, but unlike other networks, they are typically trained using Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods. In the field of Bayesian statistics, Markov chain Monte Carlo methods are a set of computational methods whose main objective is to obtain samples from probability distributions that can be very complex and may not correspond to known distributions. The main objective of these samples is to perform inference (8).

In short, the new 6G communications system will be sold to us by highlighting its supposed technological or merely technical benefits, accompanied by a substitution of human labor. However, the essential point is that AI, which is an intelligence "prepared and pre-programmed" by an entity, state, authority, or any dominant company (read: oligarchy) will become integrated from the outset with our system of habitual relationships and communications. In this way, it will control us, capture our signals, even the unconscious ones, in order to know everything about us, predetermining our behavior, shaping or anesthetizing our personal and social actions as appropriate, and, should they decide, making us warlike through the systematic induction of our thoughts and desires by whoever controls the AI algorithms.

It is taking a dizzying leap from the current trend (primarily to induce the consumption of items through audiovisual advertising on mobile phone apps, for cosmetics, refrigerators, or vacation spots, etc.) to the unconscious induction of our behavior, the way we eat, medicate, or act on our "induced desires," which will directly determine every area of our lives.

We are left with one question and one answer: who should set the limits?
